This client wanted a highly planted garden which was wheelchair accessible but which felt like a real garden. This was to sit alongside a contemporary-style brand new home.
Complex levels and accessible slopes were considered as well as the creation of platforms and seating areas to pause and enjoy the garden. Planting is textural and colourful as well as scented to make it a multi-sensory experience. Areas of shade are created at many of the pause points and in the form of roo-trained trees on the main dining terrace.
