Project details:
I was asked to design the communal gardens for a large housing development in Bournemouth for over 100 residents.
The design had to meet strict budgetary criteria for landscaping whilst providing appealing, contemporary gardens that offered an oasis of calm to enhance property value and help generate sales. Specific site issues I had to address included the need to screen neighbouring properties and unappealing boundaries, proposals to tackle significant level changes and robust planting solutions suited to a sandy soil and coastal location.
Building work is due to start shortly as at May 2016.
