I’m so thrilled to announce that my first show garden has won Gold at the Hampton Court Flower Show!
Not only did one of the judging panel say she found the garden “very moving” but it seems to have had a similar effect on the visitors with many saying they felt deeply affected by its message. And the butterflies have been performing better than I could have hoped.
At the end of the exhausting two week build period we managed to enjoy a wonderful gala night last night, which was the annual opportunity to celebrity spot. I saw Simon Callow, news reader Nicholas Witchell, John Hurt, Monty Don and Jerry Hall among others. And then later we were visited by Princess Michael of Kent.
